Field Operations Unit plans, conducts, monitors and evaluates joint operations and rapid border interventions at EU external borders and in third countries in compliance with the applicable legal framework and the highest standards of fundamental rights
To achieve these objectives, the Unit is divided in two sectors: Operational Planning and Evaluation, and Operational Implementation Sector.
