Governance Support Centre

The mission of the Centre is to provide horizontal business support in the field of human resources as well as legal and procurement support while ensuring full compliance with relevant rules.

The main tasks of the Centre are:
  • Develop and maintain the main pillars of human resources management: planning, reporting and monitoring, talent acquisition, talent development, personnel administration as well as expatriate staff services support;
  • Provide legal expertise, support and advice to the agency and its management with the view of
    managing and minimising legal risks related to the compliance with rules governing Frontex
    activities, procurements, decisions and internal procedures as well as an expanding operational footprint on the ground;
  • Processing of public access to documents (PAD) applications in the agency.
The Governance Support Centre consists of the following units: Human Resources, Legal and Procurement.
