Frontex, Europol and national authorities seize over 420,000 counterfeit items and 17.5 million cigarettes at EU borders

Frontex and Europol carried out Joint Action Days “Pirates 3”, a major operation targeting cross-border crime. Officers detected 64 irregular border crossings and seized more than 420,000 counterfeit goods, 17.5 million cigarettes and 1.1 million euro in undeclared cash.
