On 13 and 14 April, selected experts participated in the first Technology Foresight Workshop on Scenario Analysis, a two-day interactive event that was organised as part of the ongoing Technology Foresight on Biometrics for the Future of Travel.
During the workshop, participants explored, analysed and discussed four socio-techno-economic scenarios for 2040 and their possible implications on the future development of biometric technologies. This exercise focused on eliciting experts’ insights that, along with the results of the subsequently performed Delphi Survey, were incorporated into the second Technology Foresight Workshop on Roadmapping which took place on 10 and 11 June.
