The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) is launching an open call for expression of interest from relevant civil society organisations to become members of the Frontex Consultative Forum.
The Consultative Forum provides independent advice to the Agency on the respect, protection, and promotion of fundamental rights in its activities, pursuant to Article 108 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1896.
The current Forum is composed of 12 members and headed by two chairs elected by its members for a specific term. The work of the Consultative Forum is undertaken in a spirit of transparency, mutual respect, informed participation and collegiality.
Following the expiry of the mandate of the current members of the Consultative Forum on 31 December 2023, Frontex is hereby launching a call for expression of interest from relevant civil society organisations to become members of the Frontex Consultative Forum.
All interested organisations wanting to become members of the Consultative Forum are invited to express their interest by completing the online expression of interest form, available via this link.
The deadline for submitting the expression of interest and supporting documents is 21 July 2023 (midday, 12:00h Warsaw local time).
