This Industry Day (I-Day) is
dedicated to companies specialising in Maritime Domain Awareness and relevant
analytical tools. The event is designed to provide a platform for
industry to present their cutting-edge solutions aimed at identifying risks,
patterns, and trends in the maritime domain.
We are particularly interested in
solutions that address the following:
- Capturing, storing, and managing global positional
data from ship reporting systems covering at least the last five years.
- Applying user-friendly advanced search rules and
queries based on specific ship behaviour in a sequential order of events.
- Delivering advanced analytical capabilities
supported by the state-of-the-art technology.
- Fusing historical, static, and dynamic vessel data
for a more comprehensive analytical approach.
I-Days are a platform to interact and engage with
experts from the European Border and Coast Guard community. The goal is to
create a forum where participants can freely discuss the proposed solutions.
The I-Days will be held in an online format. Each
invited operator will have a 30-minute slot at their disposal; during this time
a presentation and a live demo, Q&A session, and collaborative discussions
will be held with the participants. All relevant
submissions will be invited to register on an interactive digital exhibition
platform.
Participating in Frontex’s I-Days
provides an opportunity for industry representatives to:
- Share their latest technological developments and
the state-of-the-art solutions.
- Connect with the maritime community, including
representatives from Frontex and other stakeholders.
- Gain visibility by delivering a 30-minute
presentation and showcasing their products in a live demo.
If
your company is interested in attending this I-Day, we invite you to express you interest by filling
in our online registration form. The call for expression of interest will be open
until 8 March 2024. To complete the registration
process, fill in the survey providing a comprehensive description of the
solution or product you wish to present.
After the deadline for expression of interest, Frontex
will select the most relevant technological solutions. The selection is
based on the following criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, innovation and
relevance for the European Border and Coast Guard community.
All submissions will be evaluated internally, ensuring
alignment with the needs of the European Border and Coast Guard community while
guaranteeing fair and transparent treatment of all participants.
