Is your company specialised in
interpretation and cultural mediation services? Do you want to contribute to
border crossing management operational activities? Are you ready to assist Frontex
and Member States in briefings, screening and return counselling activities?
Frontex, the European Border and
Coast Guard Agency, plays an important role in managing the EU's external
borders. A key aspect of our mission involves supporting EU Member States and
Schengen-associated countries in migration management. This process includes interpretation
and cultural mediation assistance during operational activities.

What are Industry Days?
Industry Days are a platform for
interacting and engaging with experts from the European Border and Coast Guard
community. The goal is to create a forum where participants can freely discuss
the proposed technological innovations.
Industry Days will be held in an online format
and will include engaging presentations and dynamic discussions alongside an
interactive digital exhibition platform. Each participating entity will be
provided a 40-minute slot; during this time a presentation, Q&A session,
and collaborative discussions will be held.
Who can participate and how to
register?
If your organisation is at the lead
of interpretation and cultural mediation services and has the capacity to
support border crossing management, and you wish to place your service in the
spotlight, we invite you to express your interest by filling in our online
registration form. The call for expression of interest will be open
until 11 March 2025. Please provide an overview of the interpretation
and cultural mediation services you wish to showcase.
How will submissions be
evaluated?
Attendance at this meeting is by
invitation only. More information will be communicated separately to the
selected applicants. After the submission’s deadline, Frontex will select the most
relevant service providers. The selection is based on the following criteria: capacity,
effectiveness, efficiency, innovation and relevance for the European Border and
Coast Guard community.
All submissions will be evaluated
internally, ensuring alignment with the needs of the European Border and Coast
Guard community while guaranteeing fair and transparent treatment of all
participants.
