ICMPD (International Centre for Migration Policy Development)
Frontex and ICMPD work together in various areas of integrated border management, including risk analysis and forced return monitoring. ICMPD is an important partner for Frontex led technical assistance work in non-EU countries, particularly in the Eastern Partnership countries. In turn, Frontex is contributing to several migration dialogues, such as Rabat, Khartoum or Prague processes, for which ICMPD serves as the secretariat.
Interpol (International Criminal Police Organisation)
Frontex and Interpol cooperate in the fields of border management and cross-border crime prevention as well as in capacity building initiatives and trainings, focused on integrated border management and countering cross-border crime, including irregular migration, smuggling of people, trafficking in human beings and terrorism.
IOM (International Organisation for Migration)
Frontex works closely with IOM in its technical assistance projects in the Eastern Partnerships countries, the Western Balkans and Turkey. The two organisations also contribute to each other’s projects, including the Frontex tailored risk analysis on the trafficking of human beings and unaccompanied minors.
