Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, will hold its 2nd International Conference on Biometrics for Borders on 1-3 December 2020. Throughout the event an Industry Exhibition on EES equipment with focus on biometrics technology for the Entry Exit System will be open for participation. Due to the current circumstances, including safety measures in place and travel restrictions, the event will be held on-line.

The Industry Exhibition on EES equipment  will give industry the opportunity to share the latest technological developments and innovative solutions related to biometrics, focused on practical implementations of the Entry/Exit System (EES) at the European Union’s external borders. We want to showcase to the end user community of Member States’ border authorities and Frontex experts industry products and services through on-line short presentation videos, technical papers, Q&A sessions and live discussions.

If your company is interested in presenting an innovative solution, you are encouraged to sign up to participate via our dedicated expression of interest form available here. Please note that the deadline for applications is Monday, 26 October, noon CET. You will be asked to provide a brief description of your company and the technological innovation you wish to present. Please note that places are limited and participation to the conference is by invitation only as submissions will undergo an assessment process, which will be based on the novelty and potential impact of the products and/or services for the border guard community. Frontex will inform all the interested companies of the outcome of the selection.

Frontex will share the gathered information about all the offered innovations relevant to biometrics technology for the Entry Exit System with its Community of experts, the European Border and Coast Guard.
