Vulnerability Assessment Unit is responsible for monitoring and assessing the capacities and readiness of the Member States to face current and upcoming challenges at their external borders. The Vulnerability Assessment Unit serves as the point of contact for the Schengen Evaluation Mechanism matters within Frontex.
To achieve these objectives, the Unit is divided in two sectors: Assessments and Measures and Strategy.
